Free Internet Marketing - Affiliate Marketing - How Does It Work?
First, understand what marketing actually is. It is bringing the customer together with the product - that the customer wants, needs or desires. This is very basic in the local store fronts. These days we are accosted by a horde of sales people - "finding what you want?" "May I help you?"
We usually answer - nope - "just looking - thanks". The store is "on its own" from then on. The sales force may as well not be around. Most sales people will not be persistent enough to create a relationship with the customer. They don't have or won't take the time. And most are generally not patient enough.

Compare that to internet marketing. We actually "watch" the customer as he or she "surfs" - just looking becomes a sales journal to those who know what to watch for and use it. You get the picture, every click, every "look" is recorded. Every email sign up is another pointer to the customer's wants, needs and desires. They want what they look for, they need what they buy and they desire what they keep looking at - over and over.
Internet marketers must provide value, service and attention to each customer. They offer value first. The objective is "trust" that "hey this guy knows me." You can do this in several ways. You can provide a "free" e-book, or videos or a "report". In exchange, the customer need only leave their email address as "permission" for the marketer to continue sending emails and updates until the customer is "converted."
You are Serving Clients - Not Prospects
Aweber is a great system that allows you to set up an "auto responder". A client - yeah a client now - its a relationship. A client types its email address. They get immediate response - "Hey - thanks - here is your gift etc." The relationship is started.
Great now I got the client's attention. Now what? Go to clickbank or similar affiliate network programs. Sort through the products. Select the products that match your client profiles. Are you getting a lot of folks interested in "health" then focus on that area.
Set Up Your Program Using The Key Name Everywhere
Next, create your "campaign" using the "key name" of the product every opportunity you have. You can set up blogs or web sites (.info etc. that are cheap from GoDaddy.com) that have the same name as the product. VitaminsforHealth.info. Or /blog/vitamins-for-health. You get the idea. That is the key for the search engines - Google, Yahoo et al to pick you up and lift you onto the search pages when a customer - soon to be client - starts "looking".
You have the relationship, you have the profile and now you have a list of online clients from the Aweber.com responses. Now the "streams" start to flow. Segment your Aweber lists into interest groups and introduce group members to products and services they want, need and desire.
It Is Simply A New Way To Buy Today - Take Advantage of the Changes
Most will agree, today it is the internet most people do their initial search and study. Then they decide where they will get the product. When they decide - they should have just seen the latet offering from you - their friend - speaking to them - the prized client.
Streams of income begin to flow a little from each offer. Don't expect $$$ from just one offer. It is far more reasonable to expect a few sales for each product that add up in click bank and other services to a good chunk of change each month. Those programs begin to produce and will continue to produce for as long as you attend to your clients.
Keep It Fresh - The Streams Will Continue To Feed That River of Income
Attending clients means keeping the blog or web site "landing page" fresh and new. Write free articles, news releases, tweets, and general announcements that link back to the page promoting your product. Be persistant in your study. take the time to understand the client and be patient. It all comes together.
