It was made so great because it started out as an idea for architecture and morphed its way into a sign. It also might not be recognizable if it didn't have the traditional red and yellow colors. Another great logo is the Ferrari stallion. It represents the drive and energy of the company, and everyone who sees it knows what it is. It's been popular since the 1920s.

The apple that Apple Computer Company uses for their logo is known everywhere as well. It represents knowledge and it's so simple that everyone can easily identify it. The Nike swoosh and the Lacoste Alligator are also logos that have taken on legendary status. The swoosh has broken free from needing any words to be part of it. Everyone knows what it is even without words. The Alligator came from a nickname and was embroidered on a blazer. It became larger than life from that point and no matter what color it is seen in people know what it is. These logos are so very popular because they have something that other logos don't. They stick in people's memories and they remain there. They entice people to buy products, and they've been around for a long time. Companies that want to be successful need to pay attention to what these logos have to offer so that they can move toward finding their own logo and making it into a legend.
